My portfolio workroom has serviced projects for some of the most esteemed designers, such as Charlotte Moss, and fabric houses, such as Scalamandré and Jim Thompson, and reflects a standard of excellence appreciated by those who demand the very best. Andrew Grider, a US Navy veteran, is an artisan and interior designer whose practice is rooted in scholarship, traditional craft, and curiosity. He earned his BFA in Interior Design and Craft + Material Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Historic Preservation at the University of Pennsylvania. Living with a service-related injury, three cats, and a husband has only sharpened his belief that spaces are meant to be lived in, not merely admired.
